One of the first questions 5KC are always asked is "what does the 5K stand for"? 5K is a very personal name to the company as it actually represents every single member of our immediate family with all of our first names beginning with the letter K. 5KC are a dedicated team of builders working out of Liverpool, Merseyside, and Cheshire, covering a comprehensive range of building and construction tasks. The company was formed by owner Kirk Smith in 2006, and has steadily been making its presence known in the construction industry since its launch.
Kirk began his building journey more than 20 years ago and served his time as a solid plasterer, working on some of the North Wests most prestigious buildings. After gaining a reputation as one of Merseyside's finest plasterers, Kirk went on to work alongside a variety of trades in the building sector and eventually started running and managing his own building projects with over 6 years experience at Senior management level.
