About the Business
Cookson Builders Limited is a long established family business established in Blackburn in 1935 and over the years has built a large, solid foundation of customers for their Plumbing, Heating and Building services. Originally named JH Cookson after the founder, the business was eventually taken over by his son, Allan Cookson and then in turn taken over by his sons, the current owners, Peter and Alan Cookson. Each generation has worked hard to build up a reputation for honesty, reliability and excellent workmanship and this work ethic continues today. As proof that this approach to customer service works, the current owners are proud of the fact that most business now comes from word of mouth and personal recommendations. We provide a comprehensive service for all building and plumbing work from building a new house to constructing a new patio or from installing a new central heating system to replacing customers' old lead piping.
