About the Business
S M Brookes Builder is a small family business which was established by Mick Brookes originally in the 1980's and he was later joined by his brother Rob Brookes approximately 10 years ago.
Mick served his time as an apprentice bricklayer with Hogarth builders and later joined Haley's building firm until the owner retired. He than set up in business on his own and has steadily built up a substantial customer base as well as an excellent reputation. He has vast experience in the building trade and over the years has undertaken all aspects of the business including building 2 very individual detached properties. Because of his experience he can give advice at the pre planning stage when customers may need ideas and guidance.
Rob Brookes or " Bob " the builder as he is affectionately known by children of customers is a very experienced plasterer and general builder. He previously worked for RD Askew and was mainly involved in renovation projects during this time.
